Sarah Beth was born and raised in Knoxville, TN. She graduated from Bearden High School and then got her Bachelor's Degree in Public Health Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. After several mission trips, she was called into a ministry teaching abstinence education in over 18 counties. After meeting her husband, Eric, and marrying in 2001, they moved to Nashville for his job. After 10 months, another career path changed, moved them back to Knoxville in late 2002. It was then they bought their first home.

Back in Knoxville, she was back teaching the abstinence message to middle school and high schools students. There they worked with the youth for several years and eventually, Sarah Beth was asked to be on Staff as the Girls Ministry Leader. In January 2006, they had their first child, Eva and she was all girl! Sarah Beth spent two years in Student Ministry before going back to the Hope Resource Center to be the Director of Just Wait, the abstinence education program. In September of 2008, came Brittian, their little man. Just a few days into January of 2009, the company Eric worked for suddenly closed. They had just put their house on the market to move into something smaller so Sarah Beth could stay home with their kids. Just 13 days later in a difficult job market, Eric got a job in Altoona, Pennsylvania. The Lord had prepared them to go with having their house on the market already and a peace about going that they couldn’t explain.

In February of 2009 Eric moved up first with Sarah Beth and the kids followed in March. 2009 was a tough market to sell but their house sold in just 6 months. They found a cute little house built in 1928 that had been completely renovated in a small Mennonite community. There, they meet some dear friends, got involved in a church and began to work with their youth program. They spent almost 3 years in PA.

After several years of being so far away from family, their hearts cry was to move back. The opportunity came for Eric to interview with a company back in Nashville. He accepted and they put their house on the market. Eric moved in November of 2011 and Sarah Beth and the kids moved to Knoxville with her parents while the house was on the market. Within 6 months, the house hadn’t sold but they were able to find tenants that committed to 2 years and then purchase later. It was going to make more sense for them to buy another home than it would be to rent, especially not knowing when their home in PA would sell (which finally happened in July 2015).

THAT is how Sarah Beth came to Team Wilson. They got connected with a friend they knew from their time before in Nashville who got them connected with Ben. On the first day of meeting them to look for houses, Ben told her that he had a job for her! (It was the only thing keeping their families apart). In May 2012, she started in Property Management, Short Sales and Marketing. Once in the position for a while, it wasn’t where her heart was to serve, in that administrative role that she loves so much. And then in 2014, they made the change and added her to be Ben’s Executive Assistant where she is loving it and thriving!

Now they are loving being connected in Mt Juliet, and going to church in their community at The Fellowship of Mt Juliet, serving on the Women’s Ministry and the Men’s Ministry teams. Their kids are growing and are enjoying this season of life!
